The Golden Surprise

The prince of this story, was a unique gift to the land. He was matchless.
He was born in a royal land. He lived in a magnificent  and really beautiful pink palace surrounded by gardens with so many colorful and lively varieties of flowers, shrubs and meadows. The palace stood tall amidst the garden.

The prince shimmered in gold all the time. Yet he had no huge air about it. He was the sweetest of all those who lived around him. So sweet that he had numerous visitors everyday, every moment. He never had to go out of his place. So many beautiful, unique guests would come to see him. The prince was so enthusiastic by the attention that he got all through the day. He also had a best friend, a sunflower in the garden with whom he shared all his feelings.

As time went by, he was too bored to sit wherever he was without looking at the outside world. He had never stepped out to see the real world. He asked his best friend, the sunflower, why he was becoming so unhappening and unlucky while many of his friends had even got the chance to visit cities and countries across land and water.  The sunflower told him that he had to be patient till the right time comes for him to travel outside. And she instilled in him an important thought, "whenever you get the chance to go out, wherever you go, you are very much capable of putting a smile on faces of people you meet..So be cheerful always!". The prince couldn't agree more, he was totally prepared to do that. He resolved that this would be his life's ultimate purpose.

One fine day, an yellow princess with glistening eyes set his eyes on him. For a few days, she kept going round and round the place where the prince lived. When the day came, the princess went and kneeled before the prince to express her love for him. She kissed him on his lips and proposed her love. It all seemed magical for him. She asked him if he was ready to see the world with him. He couldn't say No to such a beautiful princess. That moment, she held the prince by hand and took him away in her shining chariot.

The prince travelled with so much excitement, he was taken across  meadows, he could see dew drops on grass so close, he went past rivers and waterfalls, to reach the final destination of a thick dense forest. The princess's fort must be in the woods he thought. And yes that was where he was taken. She took him inside a palace made of yellow diamonds, there were so many tiny cells inside and the entire place was buzzing with activity.

The princess took him to the queen and said that she loved the prince so deeply that she wanted to marry him. The queen got furious and ordered him to be pushed into one of those tiny cells in the palace. With tears in her eyes, the princess was taken away forcefully from the spot.

The prince was helpless. Nobody could rescue him now. He was now imprisoned into a dark cell and his dreams of seeing the world had come crashing down.
Days and months passed, but the prince couldn't see any light. This tough time made him only stronger. He told himself that if he makes it alive into the outside world, he would make everyone smile even though he was going through a tough time now. With this prayer, he kept his hopes alive.

All of a sudden, an earthquake hit the diamond palace. He heard crazy level of buzzing around the palace. Everyone was going hither and tither, some just jumped out and others rushed as far as they could. The prince still couldn't escape and suddenly he felt he was moving along with the palace. He thought this was going to be his end. Soon after he lost his consciousness.

Few days later when the prince woke up to consciousness, he was freezing. It was damn cold where he was now. It looked like he was locked inside a cold tunnel. Just as he was trying to figure a way out of the tunnel, he heard a loud crunch and a munch. So close to his ears that it was scary for him for a moment.

And he thought, this is it, the way out..Let's just escape ..And he rushed out oozing out from the chill and freezing tunnel of a kulfi. The honey kulfi. And just as the sunflower had told him earlier, he had brought a smile on someone's face. The 'honey prince' had surprised someone who never expected real honey to ooze out of a kulfi. His life's purpose was thus fulfilled.

Well, if you want to indulge and get lost in this prince and his surprise, order the delicious honey kulfi from Lalchand Kulfi. I can assure you, you will fall for this golden prince hiding inside the rich kulfi tunnel!! :)
